Hello, and Welcome to Toddler Travel Diaries!

Follow our adventures around the globe, big and small, as we navigate the world of travelling with a toddler.  

My name is Minna, I’m a Swede living in the UK with my husband, Andy, and our 2-year-old daughter Malva. My passion for travelling started when I moved to Australia at the age of 20, and I have been travelling ever since. In 2019 I met my now husband and we subsequently welcomed our Malva into our lives at the end of 2022.

We didn't want the arrival of our daughter to completely change our lifestyle, and so we decided to continue to travel, starting with smaller trips around the UK and Sweden, then exploring destinations further afield. We have purposely avoided all-inclusive/resort type holidays, making our holidays perhaps a bit more unconventional and adventurous than your average family holiday (albeit always adapted to the needs of our daughter).

Our daughter is now 2 and has been to 15 countries, both in and outside of Europe. Our trips include city breaks in places like Barcelona, Paris and Copenhagen, road trips around Romania, Albania, Croatia and Montenegro, long-distance trips to Hong Kong & China, Brazil and Argentina as well as multiple trips around Sweden and the UK.

The aim of this blog is to document our adventures, provide travel inspiration and offer tips and advice based on our experiences to other families travelling with young children.
